breastplate of righteousness, my feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace,
above all I take the shield of faith wherewith I am able to quench all the fiery darts of the
wicked. I take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of
God. I will pray always with prayer and supplication in the spirit, allowing the Holy
Spirit to help me know my “needs” and to distinguish “needs” from “wants,” persevering
in prayer for all saints (ALL mankind) especially for myself, that I may not commit the
sin of omission against myself. I am an ambassador no longer in bondage and speak
boldly as I ought to speak concerning the gospel of Christ. The Holy Spirit is my
comforter sent to me for that same purpose so I may know MY affairs and how I should
do and that the Holy Spirit may comfort my “heart of hearts”. I pray for peace for all
mankind and petition grace for all who love our Lord and Savior in sincerity and mercy
to those who do not know Christ. The Lord, God, Abba Father will never leave me nor
forsake me though sometimes I may “feel” or “think” it be so. Help me distinguish
between “feeling” words and “thinking” words to better understand myself and how
others and things affect me and how I may affect them.
Lord, God reveal Yourself to me and dwell in me so strongly that I cannot turn my back
on you. May I always walk in Your light so You support me lest I fall. With You there is
no darkness but eternal light.
Jehovah Jireh, I know You are my provider and You are making provisions for my
finances to meet my “needs”. The more I follow You, the more my “needs” will be met
and the more my “wants” and “desires” may be fulfilled to Your satisfaction for me.
Jehovah Rapha, my healer, You are healing me as I speak. The more I profess Your
healing powers the more healing my body will receive.
The more I follow You, Jehovah Shammah, the more my “dreams” will come true and I
will have enough time and monies to enjoy Your wondrous beauties of the earth. The
more I follow You the more I will have the energies to follow You with all my “heart and
soul” and all I have. I own nothing because all I have belongs to You, my earthly
possessions, my children, my family, and my friends.
You, El Shaddai, have blessed me with the gift of (fill in with your talents) and I dedicate
myself and my gifts to You for they are Yours already. Keep me humble, Lord. Bring to
my awareness, should I boast, that You gave me my gifts and You can take them away if
I don’t use them for Your glory. Bring to my remembrance, God, the difference between
boasting and professing is to whom I give the glory.
Remind me, Adonai, only You can put a price on a human being. What is my worth
compared to others? Am I worth more? No. Is my time worth more? No. Don’t let me
forget, in your eyes, we are all equal regardless of circumstance.
I dedicate my gift of joy to You, Yahweh, for no one, no evildoer can steal my joy
because it is a gift from You. Abba Father, You are my Lord, to You I bow down.
Cleanse me and mold me into what You desire me to be and make my desires Your
desires for me. I honor You, Jehovah Tsidkenuh, by not being ashamed of me because
You “don’t make no junk” and I am not “junk.”
I am a child of God so I wrote that I am no longer in bondage. Paul was in bondage in
prison when he wrote the letter to the Ephesians. I am NOT in bondage because I am a
child of God. Therefore I wrote that I am no longer in bondage.
Sometimes in today’s world, people think more with their feelings as opposed to what
they truly believe and/or think. There is a difference. Emotions are just that, a reaction or
response to something. What we believe is what causes the emotions and/or feelings to
occur. Therefore, it is what we think/believe that is important. Belief is backed by tested
support or theory and brought to reality by our actions. Our actions are the physical
(overt) or mental (covert) reactions or responses to our actions or the actions of others.
Responses are usually a positive whereby reactions are usually a negative.
Not praying for ourselves is the sin of omission which can cause the “good works” that
we do the work of the devil. Think about that one. When we continually keep doing good
things and don’t take care of ourselves, our family, or our job, we begin working for the
devil. There has to be a balance.
The different names of God relate to different areas of our lives. You may read them on
El Shaddai: God is All Sufficient
Jehovah Jireh: Our LORD is our Provider
Jehovah-Tsidkenuh: The LORD is our Righteousness
Jehovah-Rohi: The LORD is our Shepherd
Jehovah-Rapha: The LORD that Heals
Jehovah-Nissi: The LORD is our Banner
Jehovah-Mekoddishkem: The LORD who Sanctifies
Jehovah-Shammah (Yahweh): The LORD Is There (always there)
Adonai (Hebrew) is also the source of the fabricated name Jehovah – Mister, Master,
