Rahul Rametri from Panaji won the first Mr Goa pageant

Rahul Rametri from Panaji, the capital of the Indian state of Goa was elected the first Mr Goa winner at the conclusion of The Neutral View Mr and Miss Goa contest on November 17, 2018 at the Avenue in Calangute, Goa. The contest was organized by the biggest media outlet of Goa, The Neutral View. At the same event, Abrar Naik and Tauseef Gracias were adjudged first and second runners up respectively.

Rahul is a 23-year old freelance model and fitness trainer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Don Bosco College,Panaji. He stands 5 feet and 11 inches tall and has black hair and black eyes. At the Mr Goa pageant, he got attention for his very versatile and dynamic personality and his very well-sculpted physique. His very exotic looks and very well-chiselled facial bone structure were also two of his greatest strengths that made him shine in the crowd.

Winning the Mr Goa contest awarded Rahul with a direct entry to India’s biggest and oldest running model hunt event and beauty pageant for men, the annual Rubaru Mister India 2019 pageant. The pageant was created by Rubaru Group based in the Indian Harayan, head by its founder and president, Sandeep Kumar. The pageant is associated with some of the most prestigious and well-established international pageants and modelling competitions for men. The winner and top placers of the Rubaru Mr India contest represent India at these international events.

At the pageant, the candidates walked down the runway in four rounds that included the casual wear segment and introduction round where the candidates walked down the ramp wearing Neutral View Casual T’s; up next was the physique and fitness round after that was the traditional wear segment of the contest in which the candidates paraded in traditional outfits by Senor NX and Shweta Sequeira and the final round was formal wear round in which the candidates added more sparkle to the already blinding starlight wearing exquisite creations by designers, Senor NX, Shewta Sequeria and Michael Bailey.

This prestigious Goa’s top model hunt event was hosted by International Celebrity Master of Celebrations (EMCEE) Desmond Oliveira. This very glitzy and glamorous show was choreographed by Newton Dias and Rahila Khan. Samiksha Karmalkar Harji was the hair and make over partner for this Goan fashion extravaganza. The very important and crucial task of electing the event’s winner was given to some of the well-known people from the fashion and showbiz industry. They were,

  1. Celebrity designer, Verma Dmello.
  2. Model and Rubaru Mister India Model International 2018, Dalton Dsouza.
  3. Editor in Chief of La Moda International, Baljeet Ohlan.
  4. International Cosmetologist, Jayshree Manchanda.
  5. Model, actor and Rubaru Mister India International 2018, Balaji Murugadoss.

The event’s winners were felicitated and crowned by the directors of Neutral View Pvt. Ltd. Priya Salgotra and Uttam Kumar. The vice-president of Rubaru Group, the parent organization of Rubaru Mister India and Rubaru Miss India Elite contest, Pankaj Kharbanda also attended this extravagant fashion and model search event. At the same evening, Neutral View’s monthly fashion and lifestyle magazine, TNV – The Neutral View Magazine was also launched by the directors of the organization, Priya Salgotra and Uttam Kumar and Rubaru Group’s vice-president, Pankaj Kharbanda
